Boxers...or briefs?  Toss up, but probably boxers

Jimmie Johnson burst onto the Cup scene in 2002, instantly
becoming a household name as he and Ryan Newman enthralled fans with an
epic Rookie of the Year battle in 2002.

But his smooth driving is almost overshadowed by his sexy smile. Jimmie has a
clean cut look, but his sly smile gives fans a glimpse of his dry humor. As a
California native, he represents all the best qualities of a west coast
man...confident, personable and ambitious. All very hot.

Johnson continues to prove himself on the track. He's a mere five points away
from points leader Dale Earnhardt Jr. following a million dollar win and a
dominating victory at the Coca Cola 600, both at his sponsor's namesake track
over the last two weeks.

All of his success in the Nextel Cup series has come as something of a surprise.
Jimmies' stint in the Busch series was lackluster, with his first win coming in his
final season in NASCAR's entry level league. But Rick Hendrick, team owner of the
$48 Lowes Chevy, saw something special in him.

Under Jeff Gordon's tutelage, Johnson has quickly learned the ropes and has
already mastered both the common 1.5 miles tracks as well as expert drafting
techniques at places such as Talladega and Daytona. While DEI has typically ruled
restrictor-plate racing, the #24 and #48 cars look to one another for loyal
support...and it works.

While Gordon still suffers from residual fan antipathy from his rookie years (at
least partially due to his California heritage), Johnson enjoys immense popularity.
His reputation on the track is based upon respect. Jimmie rarely engages in dirty
tactics to achieve his goals. He's more of a finesse driver. It's very easy to root for
him.

NASCAR boasts drivers of all types, from old-timer legends to boyish rookies to
smart-ass pranksters. Johnson fits right in as the poster boy for speed, and
NASCAR - and all of us fans - are lucky to have him.
